March, one of the hottest month in the country, has been designated as Fire Prevention Month because most fire incidents happen in this period. Lgu -San Vicente and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) are set to celebrate the 2018 Fire Prevention Month through a series of activities, like fire drill and massive information campaign on fire safety, with the theme, “Ligtas na Pilipinas ang ating hangad, Pag-iingat sa sunog sa sarili ipatupad,”

Mga dapat gawin kung biglang nagkasunog:
agad patayin ang main switch ng kuryente
palabasin lahat ng tao sa nasusunog na gusali o bahay
huwag mag-panic , maging listo at mahinahon
tumawag sa pinakamalapit na fire station

huwag ilagay sa ilalim ng carpet o basahan ang mga cord ng kuryente
huwag manigarilyo sa higaan
itago ang posporo sa lugar na di maabot ng mga bata
iwasang gumamit nga maraming appliances sa iisang outlet
alisin sa saksakan ang mga electric devices matapos gamitin
patayin ang amin electrical switch kapag aalis ng bahay
kung maaari, maglagay ng fire extinguisher sa bahay.
